Story Arc:

Soon the City Weeps. The City of Galador has been plagued by kidnappings and the Party must deal with the problem.A helpfull woman at the barracks gave them two leads to follow, the first that Hooded men with red stripes on their back patrolled the streets at night, and that they were assumed to have a connection with the kidnappings. Second that an elf named Sena was asking people for help looking for her sister, next to the crossroads. The Party went to meet with the elf (see Missing Sister), and discovered that the likely hideout for the kidnappers were the town Granary. Upon entering the Granary, the Party encountered the formentioned hooded men with red stripes on their back, aswell as a hidden dungeon. After fighting their way through, they discovered a room full of drained people. Having just finished dealing with a troublesome halfling and a giant man, the Party is now ready to finish cleaing up the rest of the dungeon and rescue the prisoners. Pushing forwards the Party encountered “The Scholar” Who would be willing to answer two questions about past, present or future, if the Party could answer two riddles. They managed to solve one, but due to poor wording, nothing was gained. In the final room of the dungeon they encountered two cultists that were summoning Terrovar. While defeated, they were sucessfull in returning a fragment of the Lich back to un-life. He was however vanquished aswell by the Party, with Titus striking the final blow. The Guard was called upon and they dealt with the prisoners aswell as declared them the “Heroes of Galador” and invited them to a celebratory feast at the palace later in the evening.

Ducal Messenger. The Party is under orders to deliver a urgent message from Duke Colbane to the King, but upon arriving in Galador City, it was discovered that entering into the upper levels of the city is impossible untill the issue of kidnappings in the city is resolved. Even the sigil of the Duke is not enough to sway the guards. With that, the Party has little choice but to deal with the kidnappings before proceeding to the palace. After dealing with the cultists, the Party was allowed access into the inner city. They happened upon Sir Gildion Brightsoul, the right hand of the king in the church and delivered the letter to him.

Crossroads. Duke Colbane has come with information that the Orcs have broken through the defences of the Deepford Pass and are about to enter Galador. At the same time, the Cult of Terrovar is threatening to wreak havoc within the City of Galador itself. The Party must now decide, shall they move north, to help rally the towns against this threat, while the Duke does what he can in the City, or go south to the city, to deal with the Cultists, leaving the Dukes untrained men to face the might of the orcs.
The Party convinced Duke Colbane to travel north to protect the border, while the party takes care of the issues in the city. In return, he has asked that they deliver a letter to the king from him, aswell as check up on his town, Evanshire, when they return north.

The Poison was identified as Fennel Foe, a rare poison crafted from a plant only cultivated near Varden Hold, the stronghold of the Order of the Aquila. When confronted about the accusations, Lord Algore claimed that he was blameles. Before much questioning could be had however, Titus, an Aspirant of The Order of the Aquila, appeared and revealed that the ground around the manor was tainted by shadowmagic. Before more could be done, four mercenaries attacked the party, but was quickly subdued, upon with an aid from the paladin, they revealed that the Lord had hired them.
